Sikh Hunters F.C. was the brainchild of its three founder members, Bagicha Singh, Kernail Singh and Mohinder Singh. Three lads who had previously had the honour of playing for ‘Punjab Select’ back in India, and now eager to put their expertise to the local soccer scene here in England.
The club marked their arrival at the commencement of the 1964-65 season, with an exhibition match versus Walsall F.C. supporters club. Through the late sixty’s till the late seventy’s most of their football was played in the Sunday morning league’s, where they enjoyed a very successful six or seven years before switching to the Saturday scene. |
